Content Management

Content Management: the ability to give control of your website content to users who don't understand the technical goings on behind the scenes.  Nowadays there are a multitude of different options out there and it can be a bit of a headache knowing what to choose - especially as there are now lots of open source options which are both free and widely used...

Our content management platform has been around for a while: it's roots stretch back to the late 90's when we wrote the first version, this means we know a thing or two about how these things work.  We freely admit that there is a time and a place for different content management systems, in fact on some projects we use Open Source solutions as they are the best fit.  Where CME really comes into it's own is when we are building sites tailored very specifically to your needs or when you need something capable of integrating with government standards.  Give us any design, or any feature and it's something we know we can achieve.  It's much like our own development platform which not only means that we have lots and lots of tools already written to slot into your site but you also get the ability to edit your website through a leading content management system without having to make any sacrifices.

You may be thinking at this point that it all sounds great, but surely it will cost a fair amount of money for licenses.  But depending on who you are the license fee for CME begins at nothing (for charities, co-operatives, social enterprises and not-for-profit companies) to very reasonable for others.  So it might be a lot more affordable than you imagine.

So when you want us to build you a site, we can build one totally configured to how you want it to work but with the added benefit of a fully featured content management system with a huge feature list...  Get in touch and see what we can build for you or take a look at some help files to see how it works...
